Joint investigation team for crimes committed in Ukraine | Eurojust

Описание: Just three weeks after the war began, Eurojust supported the establishment of a joint investigation team (JIT) into alleged core international crimes committed in Ukraine.

The JIT, originally set up between Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland, soon extended its membership to four additional countries (Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia and Romania), and added the participation of the ICC and Europol. The JIT allows for close cooperation between all parties involved, and an effective and swift exchange of information and evidence.
