WHO and the Ministry of Public Health of Qatar have teamed up with FIFA and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ to promote and protect public health through this year's pinnacle global footballing tournament. The project is titled Healthy FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️: Creating Legacy for Sport and Health and aims to leverage this year's event as a platform to promote and protect people's event during the tournament, and capture lessons learned for sharing with future mega sporting events.
