Our Journey Date : 12 Sep 2022 to 25 Sep 2022

New Route of Ladakh - Zanskar Valley ( Darcha - Shinku LA - Gonbo Rangjon - Purne - Phutkal Monastory - Padum - Zangla - Murgum LA - Lingshed - Singe LA - Sir Sir LA - Wangla - Leh)

We saw the “land far far away”, of all the childhood stories and travel tales, when we travelled to the Zanskar valley. The beauty of the Zanskar landscapes changed our definition of beautiful. And in its – in your face – isolation, we learnt a whole lot about ourselves!

A map of Zanskar valley has specific mentions of “end of the road”. Villages beyond this point can only be trekked to by foot, in the summer. These places are completely isolated in winter.

We started our journey from Ahmedabad, Gujarat to as below route ---
Ahmedabad - Palanpur - Pali - Churu - Pathankot - Chamera Dam - Bairagarh - Sach pass 4,500 Mtr (14,482 ft) - Killar - Udaipur - Tandi - Keylong - Jispa - Darcha - Shinku LA - Gonbo Rangjon - Purne - Phutkal Monastery - Cha - Kargyak - Padum - Zangla - Shongdey Monastery - Murgam LA - Lingshed - Singe LA - Sir Sir LA - Wangla - Confluence Of Zanskar & Indus River - Magnetic Hill - Gurudwara Pathar Sahib - Leh City & Market - Leh Palace - Shanti Stupa - Thikshey Monastery - Shey Palace - Lamayuru Monastery - Fotu LA - Namik LA - Kargil - Srinagar - Ahmedabad

We take to complete it almost 14 Days to complete it. as per my knowledge we covered india's longest & Toughest Off Road destination :
Route 1 : Bairagarh - Sach pass 4,500 Mtr (14,482 ft) - Killar - Udaipur - 145 Kms ( State : Himachal Pradesh)
Route 2 : Padum - Zangla - Shongdey Monastery - Murgam LA 14,500 ft - Lingshed - Singe LA 16580 ft - Sir Sir LA 15700 ft - Wangla - 165 Kms
