Описание: I’m making flower arrangements for a house party. My client likes white flowers and so that’s what I’m doing for her. Other than the narcissi in this mix, all of the flowers I’m working with are available in pink or red (or both….) And there are many more varieties available grown in the UK if you prefer to look for something locally grown for your Valentine.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of producers who have flowers to order in time for Valentine’s - this is just the list that leaps to my mind first. Do check with your local flower farmer to see if they have the first anemones smiling in their polytunnels and ready to be cut for you - as the British flower growing farmers feel the market demand they will grow more to meet it. They need to feel the demand though…

So here I’m making flowers for a party. I don’t do flowers for Valentines but will be flowering for a press shoot next weekend and will make another clip showing a very different kind of tablescape from the one my client will make this weekend.

This mix of three large vases, three medium sized vases and four small jars is typical for my lovely client who likes to fill her house with flowers at the weekend when she has guests visiting. These vases are a versatile mix: they can be carried around the house to follow activities, and when the weekend is over be corralled into kitchen, sitting room and bedroom to be enjoyed until they’re over. Making a mix of vases like this means you can move the flowers around to fit the occasion - useful if you’re entertaining a mix of guests throughout a weekend.
