SUGARCANE FARMERS PROTEST OUTSIDE SANJIVANI SUGAR FACTORY OVER PENDING PAYMENT OF SUGAR CROP_Prudent

Описание: Sanjivani sugarcane farmers have decided to sit on a chain protest against the government outside sugar factory as government has failed to clear all backlog payment of sugar crop. Farmers have stated that government had assured to give them 30% payment, but they have only received half. They have alleged that Ministers have been given them false assurances.
Meanwhile, Civil Supplies Minister Govind Gaude has informed that he has met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Finance Secretay over pending payment of sugarcane farmers. “Payment will be released to farmers by 5th or 7th August”, he said.
