Their debut album Modulare Schatten is a tribute to the Krautrock pioneers, not as imitation, but as reactivation.

Formed in 2023 by three sound artists — known only as H., M., and Z. — the group draws inspiration from the raw minimalism of Cluster, the motorik pulse of Neu! and the cosmic drift of Tangerine Dream. Their music is built on modular synth improvisations, processed environmental sounds and rhythmic structures that feel both mechanical and meditative.

Klangkörper 71 performs in unconventional spaces: power stations, empty swimming pools, and abandoned office buildings. Their shows are immersive, often involving blindfolds, quadraphonic sound and real-time tape manipulation. They describe their work not as music, but as “frequency architecture.”

With their debut album Modulare Schatten, Klangkörper 71 invites listeners into a sonic landscape where past and future collapse — a place where analog dreams resonate in digital ruins.
