Hey Everyone, The Surly Krampus is crushing out The Great Divide, no issues so far, except Those Maxxis Rekon tires are getting a little thin. I have been dodging goat heads and using lots of plugs out here in the desert. The Cibola National Forest look salon like The Black Hills of South Dakota, must be the trees. Trying to stay cool on these barren stretches of desert riding on the Divide, water is scarce and I have to get it when I can. Just about 500 more miles left on The GDMBR and Mexico is getting close. Stopped in Cuba New Mexico for a day, managed to get 40 miles in by noon, and just stopped ta hotel, where it rained all afternoon and evening, such a lucky stop.
