Orgy of Carrion (US) - Rusted Gateways (EP 2024)

Описание: The first EP release by Orgy of Carrion.

A project that should need no introduction, being one of the most recognized from Perverse Homage's strain of perversion and the overall Raw Black Metal scene or recent years, this EP marks 10 years of its existence, which count with a rather prolific discography.

Recorded between 2020 and 2021, this is maybe Orgy of Carrion's cleaner and most polished release to date however, "Rusted Gateways" focus less on the sonic depravity, nourished by some Punk and Grindcore influences, that characterized the project's infernal, cacophonous sound in most previous recordings. Rather this EP is not only cleaner in production, with a much less grainy guitar tone and decaying sound quality, but also more melodic and atmospheric in guitar work, even if still oblique and rottenly worshipping the sound of such acts as Belkètre and Mütiilation, and reminiscing here more with other of their brethren as Kudlaakh or Lampir.
