Welcome, AZ students, to this season of Regional and All State band and orchestra auditions! Making the choice to take this step in your musical journey is so amazing, and Grand Canyon University is here to help you on this journey! These videos serve as both audio samples of each etude from the AMEA regional selection, as well as a breakdown of the excerpts themselves as well as the audition process as a whole, featuring professors and professional musicians from all around the state. Grand Canyon University is holding our yearly Mock Audition on Monday, January 16, 2023, on our main campus between 9-4pm, and would love for you to join us! A Mock audition will include performing your scales, etudes, and sight-reading for our faculty in a practice setting. You will receive feedback, via email, from our professors about how to improve your playing and audition-taking skills.
