1/18 BMW M5 in Isle of Man Green Metallic colour. Made by Solido.

Описание: In BMW's range of models, the "M" ones are special. High performance, style, comfort, aggressive look, all this are making the M-series trully special and very desired among the BMW fans. And not only. The latest BMW M5 does have all of this, even though the design line is not really what BMW was. Actually none of the latest models, except maybe 3-series models. However, a BMW M5 it is a BMW M5, a very desired car by many. If I wasn't a Mercedes-Benz fan, most likely a M5 or a M3 would be my cars to go. Or Audi RS6. But this is a different story.
For model car crazy collectors, Solido launched lately a series of BMW models in 1/18 scale including BMW M3 saloon ( sedan ) and estate ( touring ), and recently BMW M5. For now, only as saloon ( sedan ) version, but most likely an estate ( touring ) version will come out soon. And in two colours: red and green. For those with not enough patience to wait, GT Spirit launched M5 in both saloon and estate versions.
As usual, Solido did a great job with this model like they did with M3 ones. Really good quality at a very good price. Really hard, if not impossible, to find something similar in 1/18 scale. Of course, is not perfect, and few minor issues are present ( for example, the model from my collection have a small problem touching the desk surface with all four wheels ), but giving what you will get for a quite low price, doesn't really matter. After all, it is a model who sit in the display, and a 1mm or 2mm gap between a wheel and shelf surface is basically invisible. And definitely shouldn't hold you back to buy a BMW M5 from Solido. I really do recommend this model.
