The History: In 1999, Leitner Ropeways replaced an old 1971 Doppelmayr double chairlift with a more modern quad. The double chairlift was relocated to a small ski hill in Manitoba where it still operates (Minnedosa Ski Valley). This quad is often the very first lift at Norquay to open for the season. It is also open for night skiing. It runs at a very slow pace and takes a long time to get up.
The lift: This is a 1999 Leitner quad chairlift. It has 8 towers and a very unique drive terminal.
(My old video of the cascade chair had bad audio, so I wanted to redo it.)
