The funeral service for the Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu is currently underway at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Ackerville, Emalahleni in Mpumalanga. Mavis Mahlakoane tells her experience whilst taking care of him at the Milpark hospital. The nurse who tended to Minister Jackson Mthembu in the final moment's Sister Mavis Mahlakoane, also spoke about the different milestones as they were attempting to save Minister Mthembu's life. Mahlakoane re-iterated a character trait of Minister Mthembu that President Cyril Ramaphosa also spoke about in his eulogy, saying he was calm in communicating with them even in these last moments.
She also mentioned the doctor attending to him who also passed away shortly after attending to Minister Mthembu while rushing off to tend to another patient in a helicopter crash, Dr Rudolph Kgopotso Mononyane. Let us listen to her speech again.
