“My name is Dina Mangialino. I’ve been at ConEd for about 8 years, 2.5 as an intern, then through the Leadership Development Program (LDP Plan) and a few other positions.”

“I grew up in Astoria, born and raised, I went to school at hunter college, and while I was there, I learned about an internship position at ConEd, so I was able to come over. Worked in a couple of different areas, in electric operations, in IT, and cyber security. Which ultimately lead me to the LDP program.”

“It’s an exciting opportunity to learn about Con Edison, while growing your leadership skills. It will put you our of your comfort zone, but you’re challenged to learn and grow as a leader in many capacities.“

“During this process, you’re really supported, you get a mentor, and a huge network of supportive managers, leaders, and people with whom you go through this program with. ConEd is pipes and wires, but its also a lot more than that. There are plenty of opportunities outside of those operating areas for professionals to learn, grow, and to develop.”

Leadership Development Program associates (formerly GOLD associates) are challenged to expand their knowledge in engineering, business, and information technology while identifying and cultivating their personal and professional leadership style. Past Leadership Development Program associates have been promoted to senior positions, including supervisor, manager, director/general manager, and C-suite executive.
