Описание: A common but highly disturbing problem with automatic (wireless or not) weather stations is the deterioration of the anemometer (the wind speed measurement unit) or the with direction meter. Using the case of the ALECTO wireless professional weather station WS-5000, this video shows how to fix the issue. It explains how to remove the ball bearing system that is the heart of the two mobile components of the weather station: anemometer and the wind direction meter. However, explanations are also provided that should convince that despite of blocking weakness, ALECTO WS – 5000 remains one of the best on the market, partly due to its easiness of use for measurements and data extraction, and the wonderful display unit.
