Welcome to the tenth video in our course, "Leveraging Technology: Tools to Enhance Instruction and Learning." In this session, we cut through the noise of the "app avalanche" to provide a curated, guided tour of the essential tools modern educators need.

We move beyond a random list of apps and organize your toolkit into four purposeful categories: Foundations (Accessibility), Dynamic Instruction (Engagement), Student Ownership (Creativity), and Review (Gamification). We also introduce two powerful new additions to your repertoire: ‪@Figma‬' FigJam for collaborative whiteboarding and Flippity for turning spreadsheets into game shows.

Key Learning Objectives

1. Foundations: Using Microsoft Reading Coach and Immersive Reader to ensure every student can access the text and receive private fluency feedback.
2. Dynamic Instruction: Transforming passive lectures with Nearpod, Pear Deck, and Edpuzzle.
3. Student Ownership: Giving students a voice with Padlet (digital walls) and FigJam (structured collaborative whiteboards).
4. Engaging Review: How to build "Digital Escape Rooms" and use Flippity.net to turn Google Sheets into high-energy review games.
5. The Commitment: A simple framework to move from "What if?" to "How to" by next Tuesday.
