I've always liked the funky Jet Set style of music. That and the PS1 era atmospheric (d)rum and (b)ass, so getting the chance to make some I obviously instantly jumped on it. All I can tell you is I'm doing a few songs for a videogame. That's all you get until everything's in a state worthy enough to show.

Yknow I always grew up a metalhead, but I appreciate all forms of music. Or art in general. Music is music, you don't like a funky bassline, that's your prerogative (Look at me using fancy 5 dollar words) but you can't deny the talent in some of these people. The art of sampling particularly is riddled in controversy for some reason, and like I get it, but...
Yknow, I'm as protective of my own worthless I.P's as anyone else is, I get the whole royalties situation. Some of the most famous samples never had a dime go to the original creator. But from my...disgustingly humble and amazingly unique point of view...I'd be glad if someone liked my stuff enough to sample, full stop...
Screw the royalties, I wanna hear the sample flip. I wanna see how hard it goes. I like to encourage creation, not stifle creativity. Don't matter if the idea is "stupid" or the royalties are "muh rights", you have an idea...execute it.
