Wow, the tenth Lunetta session.
I just learned you can use an AND gate as a simple envelope. Here's the set up: An oscillator goes into input A, and the control input goes into input B. Or the other way around, the order doesn't matter. Now, AND gates only open when both signals are HIGH. When the control signal is LOW, nothing. But when it's HIGH the oscillator comes through.
This configuration is called an inhibit circuit. And there's the big idea behind this patch. You could also use this to create rhythmic slices. The ideas keep coming.
