The song was recorded in the Saint Peter church of Rotselaar. The city where I grew up. The natural acoustics of this space really shaped how we played and connected with this song. It is important for me to record in places that have been a big part of my journey: all the little moments and all the memories, some better than others, are captured in this piece. This together with the acoustics of these historic locations brought something special that a studio can’t capture.
