Beloved, today God is present among you to give you the words of his life. "Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place." (Psalm 66:12) The verse reminds us of that.

You may wonder how Jehovah will allow humans to go up against us, his children. Yet, when we go through such difficult circumstances, he guides us to the promised place of prosperity.

According to this verse, God may have led you through the fire in the last few days, months, or years. Why did he do that? It can be a test of your faith. "I believe in the Lord, he is a loving God. I hope he will always protect me." But suddenly, God may have led you through a fire-like situation.

A man of God said, "No Covid virus will touch me. God will protect me." But the virus affected him. He was suffering from fever and other ailments. He asked God, "Lord, how can I tell the people that you are protecting your children now? Why did you let me get this disease?" But God spoke to him in that situation, saying, "My grace still covers you. I will not allow this disease to destroy your life. I'm still holding you in my arms." In those days God spoke to him, and the man's faith was truly strengthened. God tests our faith as well. This will strengthen our faith in him. You know that God will not abandon you in the face of difficult circumstances. Not only that, after the test of faith, he will raise you to a higher place. The Lord will help you when you cling to faith. It'll grow you.

Why does God allow suffering in our lives? God allows challenges in our lives to strengthen us, just as he trains ordinary youths in the military, getting up early in the morning, running long distances, crawling in the mud, and overcoming obstacles. The trials that come to us are not meant to punish us, but to prepare us for his call and to see if we are faithful and long-suffering under difficult circumstances.

Life's trials, whether in personal life, business, or relationships, are opportunities to show endurance, faith, and obedience to God. A lot of people leave when they face difficulties. God blesses those who persevere in complaining, struggling, and impossible situations. When we trust in him through fire and water, showing faith and dedication, he will lead us straight to our calling and bring us into the prosperity that he has promised.

Just as soldiers are prepared for military service by rigorous training, we are prepared to endure through life's challenges and accept God-given blessings and responsibilities.

Beloved ones, you may feel that others, even those close to you, are stabbing you in the back, betraying you, abandoning you. "His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth." (Psalm 25:13) Take comfort in what the Scriptures say. This means that not only will you benefit, but your children will benefit as well. Receive this blessing today.

Today, let us resolve to trust God completely, even on an uncertain and difficult path. No matter how many challenges and trials we face, we will run for the Lord with long-suffering and patience.
