Welcome back to Noor-ul-Hidayat by Hafiz Mehboob.

In this video, we explore the powerful lessons of the Tenth Parah (وَاعْلَمُوا), which includes the completion of Surah Al-Anfal and the beginning of Surah At-Tawbah.

In this summary, we discuss:

• The first verse of this Parah explains the division of spoils of war (مالِ غنیمت) — one fifth (1/5) is for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, and it is further distributed among close relatives (قربٰی), orphans (یتامیٰ), the needy (مساکین), and the traveler (مسافر), while four fifths (4/5) are for the soldiers.

• The background and situation of Ghazwa-e-Badr — how Allah granted victory to the Muslims despite their apparent weakness, limited resources, and small number.

• The reminder that victory comes only from Allah, not from numbers or strength.

• Allah placed love and unity in the hearts of the believers — especially between Aws and Khazraj, who were once enemies of each other, but through Islam became brothers.

• The lesson from Ghazwa-e-Hunain — when Muslims initially felt confident due to their large number, but that strength did not benefit them.

• Allah then sent down tranquility (سکینہ) and helped the believers with unseen forces (فرشتے), turning apparent defeat into clear victory.

• Guidance regarding obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, maintaining unity, and avoiding disputes that weaken the Ummah.

• In the beginning of Surah At-Tawbah, the declaration regarding those who repeatedly broke treaties and opposed Islam.

• The exposure of hypocrites (منافقین) and the warning against internal weakness within the Muslim community.

• The powerful call towards sincere repentance (توبہ) and complete loyalty to Allah and His Deen.

This Parah teaches us that unity, obedience, humility, and reliance upon Allah bring divine help — while pride and overconfidence lead to weakness.
