TikTok cringe has reached a new peak with “mutual aid” turning into full-on panhandling. These queer creators aren’t just asking for help, they’re making videos begging strangers to fund their groceries, pay their bills, or even buy them a ticket to “flee the country” because they’re trans.
Some of these stories are real. But a lot of them are straight-up grifts. We’re talking fake disabilities, autism cosplay, and oppression cosplay. One girl in this video insinuates she can’t walk or talk… until you see the clips where she suddenly can.
In this video, I break down the mutual aid scam trend, the queer TikTok begging pipeline, and why fake disability content gets so much traction online.
