In this video I show how to build a basic linear power supply for benchtop use.
In this case, to power up a HP 1345A Vector CRT Display to aid in calibration.
The voltage drift was from undersized polyfuses! I removed them and all was good and perfectly stable. :)
The special connectors I used are as follows:
Female connector to connect into rear of 1345A:
