Описание: Death Ephemera is a fantastic cyber-organic horizontal danmaku shooter for the sharp x68000 by AkiraGoya.

The plot of the game is more or less this (translation from japanese, so it's not very accurate):

In 20 XX years, monsters flew from the far side of the universe and tried to invade the earth.
Because monsters possessed other human beings and other creatures, the earth suffered great damage in a short period of time.
Besides that, they were able to manipulate the machines freely, and the troops of each country of the Earth battled each other.
So the Earth Defense Force destroyed enemies by dropping a tremendous bomb to a city that was devastatingly hit.
The green light was given to use meteorological weapons.
The earth was covered with thick clouds, sunlight did not reach it and artificial glacial period came.
As the creatures on the ground can not act due to the cold, the monster retreats to the base on orbit.
This invader was named Astral.
Scientists conducted research and experiments on the captured astral in various ways.
And they discovered that individual astral can loose loyalty to herd by electromagnetic torture. Besides that, it was possible to manipulate freely it with human thought.

The Earth Defense Army developed an unmanned space plane "Myrmeleon" equipped with a human brain computer.
It has a spirit link with Astral, with a fire for attack, so an unmanned space fighter was completed.

But human brain computer without know-how of space flight and fighting did not get much battle results, so the production of manned space fighter aircraft was started.
The Ephemeroptera type space fighter based on Myrmeleon demonstrated excellent performance and destroyed the astral from the ground.
So the Earth Defense Force sends Ephemeroptera to the enemy base and carries out a strategy to annihilate the Astral group.
However, as Ephemeroptera invades the enemy base, communication ceases, all the aircraft will stop firing.

AkiraGoya did an AMAZING job with this game. It is really awesome, good graphics, great musics and fantastic bullets patterns. It is really a masterpiece, undoubtely my favorite shooter on this machine.
