Today I'm showing you how to sew a dress and make it fit you. This isn't really a full tutorial, but should give you an idea of how to make a dress. This is a very easy pattern, only a few pieces.
I cannot source this fabric, as it was purchased at the antique mall.
This is a one day make, I finished the dress in about 3 hours total.
Hi! My name is Cheryl and I am a hobby sewist in Stl MO. I've been sewing ever since 1991, when I was in 4H in Kansas City KS. I come from a long line of people who sewed in the past, and many younger people who still sew. I love making Halloween Costumes every year, and I love making clothes you cannot get easily in the store. The challenge of sewing has always intrigued me, and I enjoy learning new techniques. I would consider myself an amateur, with the heart of an expert.
My favorite sewing project, so far, is probably the googily eye dress and accessories. I just made that on a whim one day, and I love it.
