I just learned a new tune -- The White Cockade! I thought it was such a pretty tune that I had to make a video with it. I think it goes well with "Flowers of Edinburgh," so here are the two tunes together! I hope you like them! =)
I've heard that Flowers of Edinburgh is actually a hornpipe, but I've never heard it played with a swing. Maybe it is just because I live in an area that is heavily into Old Time and Bluegrass -- those genres don't have a whole lot of "swinging tunes.." But I'm just curious if other regions play it more like a hornpipe. I think it sounds really pretty played either way!
I stumbled upon this pretty location by accident. I love all of the beautiful flowers! If I ever get to own a cute little house, I'm definitely pulling a lot of landscaping inspiration from this!
This area is located in the middle of Downtown. I always thought that there were just shops in the downtown, but apparently there is an entire little neighborhood hidden inside! When I was playing, some people started to come out of their homes. I thought they were going to boot me out of there for making a bunch of noise (it was early morning..), but instead they wanted me to play more! It was so neat! I'm glad that there is still an appreciation for acoustic music in an era filled with technology and electrically-enhanced music!
Thank you for watching! =)
