I travel for new experiences, destinations and as travelers often comment, a cruise is the easiest way to accomplish all this. Unpack once and enjoy. But...more than 50% of my "enjoyment" ...okay, 90%...depends on food quality.
Not gourmet cuisine but a wide variety of food that allows cruise guests to sample something new and different and then not eat if not to their taste since all is included in the cruise. L'Austral had wonderful food, particularly in the dessert department, my favorite part of a meal.
