Mt Gibson Wildlife Sanctuary spans 131,812 hectares, approximately 350km northeast of Perth, and lies at the intersection of two major botanical provinces.
Home to Australia’s most ambitious mammal reintroduction program, Mt Gibson set a national record in 2023 for the highest number of species restored to a single site. The release of Bettongs outside the feral proof fence is the most recent exciting milestone here.
