The Constitutional Law Society of NUJS Kolkata, hosted the XIIIth D.D. Basu Endowment Lecture on the 27th of February, 2019. This year, the lecture was delivered by Senior Advocate, Mr. Shyam Divan, specifically on the subject of 'The Constitution, Liberty and Privacy.'
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr.) N.K. Chakrabarti, Dr. Saradindu Basu, Hon'ble Justice (Retd.) Ashim Kumar Roy and Shyam Diwan comprised the dais for the afternoon. This was followed by a question and answer session, and the awarding of prizes for the Eighth D.D. Basu Essay Competition.
