More of my videos from spring 2017 showing forms of submission & agression among the four male European Grey Wolves in the zoo "Tiergarten Worms" (Germany): acting "pack leader" "Whitey" (b. 2009), his brothers Goldie and Kleiner, and his father Bolek (b.2007); the mother and uncle died a few years ago, leaving this group of 4 male wolves. A clear hierarchy is not recognisable: Whitey is clearly the boss, now for over a year, but Goldie is hardly the "omega" wolf, but usually quite close to Whitey who often protects him, but not always; the father, Bolek, seems often the most defensive. Most of the time, everything is peaceful and harmious, and none of the other three steal each other's food, but at some occassions during the day, Whitey seems to feel the need to assert his position - a daily ritual...
