Amazing clam chowder at the Oregon coast. And no it’s no mos!

I’m not a big sea food person but I absolutely LOVE clam chowder. From my first bite at fisherman’s warf. It was 1998 and I was about 10-11. Growing up my parents liked to take my twin and I to medical conferences and this particular conferences was in San Francisco. I remember the steaming sourdough bread bowl and rich briny aroma and my first spoonful. And quite honestly I compare every soup I try to that first bite.

So, when my friend @tammy_b1102 told me about this spot and how she said it’s one of the best on the coast. And it’s a small little shanty. I looked it up and it looked super legit so when we had a moment during our church retreat. We ventured out in search of this clam chowder.

This. Is. Excellent. Clam chowder. 👏🏼
I do wish it came in a sourdough bread bowl but that fluffy brioche type bread was just as good in its own way.

Save this for your next trip to the coast. They also have a lot of other seafood dishes. And I’m sure it’s all just as good.
