I have a much-requested tutorial for you: how to use handmade metallic watercolours with pointed pen calligraphy! I primarily use my metallic watercolours for calligraphy and hand lettering, so this is a topic I'm well-versed in. The trickiest part to doing pointed pen with watercolour is figuring out the correct amount of water to use. If you use too much water, the paint will roll off your nib in blobs. If you use too little water, you may not be able to get the paint to flow at all. I've determined four drops of water to be the ideal amount.
In this video I'm using a Brause 361 nib aka the blue pumpkin nib. It's my favourite to use with watercolours because it has a large reservoir so you won't have to reload with paint as frequently. I'm using the colour Nikita from my Chromepop Collection. I hope you find this video helpful!
