In anticipation of the 2026 Winter #Olympics in Milan, we highlight the testimony of Holocaust survivor Agnes Adachi, who attended the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany—the summer games that disproved Hitler’s theories of Aryan racial superiority.
Agnes shares how special it was to witness Jesse Owens, a Black American sprinter and long jumper, who won four gold medals in front of Nazi officials.
