Kurma Gram vedic village is a 60-acre farm community located in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh state, India. It was started in the year 2018 under the aegis of Nanda Gokulam Goshala Trust. The community aims to promote a simple and natural lifestyle based on Vedic principles.
The village has a population of about 80 residents, who live in mud huts roofed with thatch or tiles. They have no electricity, internet, television or cooking gas, nor other modern amenities and gadgets, including mobile phones. There's just one landline phone for community outreach.
The residents of the village are self-reliant, growing their own vegetables and grains, and weaving their own cloth. They also maintain a goshala (cow shelter) and a vedic gurukulam (school).
The village offers a variety of programs to visitors, including meditation classes, yoga workshops, and tours of the community.

With years of experience touring and recording in popular genres, Chris is known for his fluid, innovative style, musical intuition, and warm soulful tone. He is equally at home on electric and acoustic instruments.

A recording artist on the myndstream label (music for modern wellness), Chris is developing an ambient style he describes as "post-rock acoustic minimalism". A personal highlight is having accompanied surf legend and yogi Gerry Lopez at his yin yoga class at Wanderlust. Chris also collaborated with Sean Penn for the "Into the Wild" score.
