Описание: ପକ୍କାରାସ୍ତା ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଶାସନକୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ନେହୁରା ହେବା ସତ୍ତ୍ବେ କୌଣସି ସୁଫଳ ମିଳିଲାନି। ପ୍ରାଶାସନିକ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଅଟକାଇଲେ କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ତୁମୁଡ଼ିବନ୍ଧ ବ୍ଲକ୍ ଗୁମା ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ୫ ଗାଁର ଶତାଧିକ ଲୋକ। କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶମ୍ଭୁନାଥ ନନ୍ଦି, ବାଲିଗୁଡ଼ା ଉପଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ପ୍ରଣିତା ଦାସ ଓ ଆଦିବାସୀ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ପ୍ରଶାସକ କୃପାସିନ୍ଧୁ ବେହେରାଙ୍କୁ ପାଖାପାଖି ୨ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଅଟକ ରଖିଥିଲେ। ଫଳରେ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଅଶାନ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଆସି ଖୁବଶୀଘ୍ର ଡିପିଆର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ରାସ୍ତା ନିର୍ମାଣ ହେବାର ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ଦେବା ପରେ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି ଲୋକେ।

Tension erupted in Guma Panchayat under Tumudibandha Block of Kandhamal District, Odisha, after hundreds of villagers protested demanding a permanent road.

Residents from five villages stopped senior officials including Shambhunath Nandi, Chief Development Officer of the Zilla Parishad, Pranita Das, Sub-Collector of Baliguda, and Kripasindhu Behera, ITDA Project Administrator. The officials were reportedly detained for nearly two hours at Tidipadara Chhak.

Villagers said they have been repeatedly requesting the administration for a pucca road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, but their demands have not been fulfilled. Even today, nine villages in the panchayat lack proper road connectivity.
