This is a counterfeit reissue knockoff version of Generation One Soundwave, in box, and Captain Kyle examines it to see if it’s good enough to scratch your Decepticon Communicator itch.

Soundwave was introduced in the first wave of Transformers in 1984 and immediately became a fan favorite. His cool design coupled with a squad of awesome Decepticon cassettes he could deploy at will made him a must-have for fans of the line. Numerous reissues have sold out quickly through the years, but the Walmart 40th Anniversary edition left some collectors unhappy with the toy's lack of chrome, stickers, and plastic feel. Captain Kyle obtained a Generation One Soundwave “reissue” to review it for those who want a toy as close to the original as possible. And this one does not disappoint.
