Описание: If you are looking to learn more about being a builder, here is a great way to step up your game! LEARN THE CODES. This video is all about codes for handrails (required on most stairs and some ramps), not to be confused with GUARDS, which are used to prevent falls from raised walking surfaces. These are residential codes from the 2018 ICC code book for North Carolina, but are a standard in most of the U.S. (as well as many other countries). Just a note: there are some exceptions for larger size handrails for outdoor use and in garages.
This does not cover everything, but most of the biggies. ALWAYS check with your local inspector if you have any question!!!
