This year I decided to get the kids out of town and away from the heavy feeling at home, because we’re still grieving their mom—Christmas was her favorite holiday, and it hits hard. So we packed up and took a few days to Cape Canaveral Beach, Florida for a reset, some laughs, and new memories.
