The eighth Covid-19 Urban Thinkers Campus will be on Planning and Design for Pandemic Urban Resilience.
The pandemic hits the most vulnerable first, those living in slums and informal settlements, the homeless and the migrants. As current planning and design practices may hinder effective response to pandemics, immediate actions need to be taken to support cities and communities facing shelter, basic services and infrastructure challenges.
The UTC on Planning and Design for Pandemic Urban Resilience brings together key speakers and stakeholders to help plan, design, build, manage cities to make communities more resilient to future health crisis.
