Описание: Hello this is Dr. Steve again for Ask the Derm and the question today is how do we actually treat age spots? Well, as we discussed before, age spots are basically accumulations of pigment that are under the top layer of skin. How do we get rid of this pigment? Well, there are bleaching creams out there that may work. Usually they take a long time to work. They don't work that well. We can use lasers in the office to get rid of dark spots and we can use something called liquid nitrogen. Which is a very cold spray which we spray on the dark spots and many times will get rid of them the pain is very instantaneous. It takes10 seconds to do an age spot and it works in the majority of cases. Again this is Dr. Steve for Ask the Derm.
