In the Philippines we have many kinds of sinigang recipe and SIINIGANG NA ISDA SA MISO is one of my favorites. Not only because it tastes good but also healthier because of the fish as protein. You can use the fresh MISO paste if it is available, but the powder or instant miso is also widely available these days. This SINIGANG NA ISDA SA MISO recipe will warm up your soul. Here is the complete ingredients list:
1/2 kilo of any white fish (tilapya, bangus, maya maya, salmon)
3 bunches of mustasa
3-5 pieces gabi or taro cut
1/2 cup tomatoes sliced
a thumb of ginger cut into sticks
3 pieces lady finger chilies
1 onion
1 garlic
500ml rice water or ugas bigas (the water after the 3rd washing of rice)
Sinigang sa Miso mix (23 grams) I used only half
some oil for frying the fish and for sauteing
