Hi friends! Growing up my dream was to always become a doctor, but I had no idea what a PhD really entailed or what a PhD program was like! Even when I got into my doctoral program I didn’t really understand what I needed to do to be successful as a PhD student. So now, three years later and with a little bit of wisdom, I thought to make a video that answer the biggest questions I had! What exactly is a PhD? What Are PhD degree requirements? And is a doctorate worth It?! In this video I work to provide all the major STEPS to becoming a Doctor! I worked hard to really explain in DETAIL what is a PhD? What are the general requirements and major milestones of PhD degree? What does a PhD mean and academic jobs and other things you can do with a doctorate?! After this video I hope to help people define what a PhD is for them and figure out if it would be worth it or not! I love my PhD program and the doctoral degree that I am pursuing and I hope I can inspire others to pursue a PhD! To me it is worth it but let me know after this video if grad school is worth it to you!
