“Fluency isn’t gold, and stuttering isn’t bad. It’s the hiding that brings struggling... and we can break the paradox." In this inspiring keynote from our 28th Annual Convention, Reuben Schuff, an aerospace engineer who stutters, shares how he realized his childhood dream of building spaceships and what he’s learned about confidence, courage, and communication along the way.
Reuben Schuff, MS, P.E. is an aerospace engineer, space exploration enthusiast, traveler, speaker, author, juggler, parent, and person who stutters. He contributes to the stuttering community as a volunteer and an advocate who believes that confidence, courage, and the joy of communication aren’t in the sounds and syllables of our speech, but in the choices we make to be our best selves, pursue our passions, and use our talents to make the world a better place. His long-term vision is to start a school on the moon! Read more about Reuben at https://friendswhostutter.org/convent...
