Konques was a collaborative effort between Tequnique and MC Over I, soon Illegitimate was added to the line up. Money train was the first song were performed live, at a night club in Victoria B.C. We opened for Guy Woods from The Scale Breakers.

Tequnique and Wes Borg

Recorded Live during a house party, Comedian Wes Borg played guitar and sang freestyle, I did drums on his MPC1000. I chopped up the recording, kept Wes' chorus, and wrote the track. Wes gave me his blessing and I cut the track, Again, this was a highlight of making music even though it sounds a little rough. Wes Borg is hilarious, creative and an amazing troubadour. Wes has also done a TED talk, look him up you youtube!

Stax opened for Redman at one point, He has been a staple of the Victoria B.C Hip Hop scene for two decades. CC and I were in the same 3rd grade Class. The beat was made with a cheap Yamaha synth.

I was working with Koji to write this track, He came up with the ideas and I formed it into a song, This is the reference track I sent him to practice, as it was his first song. He never came through to record it. I liked it good enough to put it on the mixtape. Writing Credit to Koji

One night I heard a beat in my head, held the thought until i could manifest it. This track is dark and reflects a deep dissatisfaction with my life at that moment, everything was going wrong. While I was definitely drinking, in the track I used it more to be a stand in for any mechanism to escape. Times can be dark, but given time, life does get better. RIP Dad

This track was fun to make, we brought in a sax player and bass player. Just went crazy freestyling, Really it was a once in a lifetime experience. For me, it was the pinnacle of having fun with music. 2007-2008 was amazing. The track did have verses but files were lost and what survived became the outro.
