Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reiterated his unwavering support for Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday, following the Ukranian president’s explosive meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trudeau voiced his support during a summit of European leaders in London aimed at setting conditions for a lasting peace in Ukraine.
Trudeau said the war could end tomorrow if Russia decided to end its illegal war in Ukraine, but added that Russian President Vladimir Putin could not be trusted to keep his word on any agreement to end the fighting.
Kyiv and Washington had been expected to sign a deal on critical minerals on Friday but the meeting ended without an agreement after an explosive meeting between Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump.
