Описание: Hydrogen-electric vertical takeoff and landing (H2eVTOL) aircraft technologies are poised to emerge in the next coming decades and start operating from existing heliports and new vertiports. This presentation will explore how key H2eVTOL design features interact with the ground infrastructure.

Gaël Le Bris, CM, ENV SP, PE is Vice President & Technical Fellow with WSP. He supervises aviation system and airport planning projects, and provides expertise in aviation engineering, operations, and safety in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Le Bris was the principal investigator for ACRP Research Report 239: Preparing Your Airport for Electric Aircraft & Hydrogen Technologies. He is currently leading ACRP Project 03-75: Preparing for Hydrogen at Airports. Mr. Le Bris holds master’s degrees in aeronautical engineering and economics from the National University of Civil Aviation (ENAC) (Toulouse, France) as well as in airport development and
management from the Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne, FL). He is a licensed civil engineer in California and North Carolina.
He is the chair of TRB’s AV017 Standing Technical Committee on Safety and Security Considerations in Aviation, as well as a member of AIAA, the National Safe Skies Alliance, the SAE International, and the Vertical Flight Society.
