Neven Maguire, Bothar, Irish Farmers Journal Heifer Campaign 2011

Описание: In celebration of Bóthar's 20th Anniversary, Neven Maguire and the Irish Farmers Journal teamed up to organise an airlift of 140 in-calf friesian heifers to needy families in developing countries. Donations from farm families all around the country flowed in to cover the cost of the flights and the campaign was a great tribute to the generosity of Irish farmers. Each heifer donated helped transform the lives of struggling families and through Bóthar's system to "pass on the gift", the first female born from each heifer will be donated to another struggling family, so the cycle of giving starts again.
