Emily Bell, Communications Coordinator for the Florida Wildflower Foundation will join us to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about invasive plants in Florida’s urban and natural areas. We’ll demystify the language used to communicate about invasive species and talk about why some of them are still readily available in most nurseries.
Bio: Prior to joining the Florida Wildflower Foundations, Emily spent four years coordinating invasive species programs within UF IFAS Extension and for the Florida Invasive Species Partnership. She began her conservation career as an intern for The Nature Conservancy and went on to work for the Florida Department and Environmental Protection and Hawaii Invasive Species Council.
