New Asylum Process at U.S. Border (2022-2023)

Описание: This video explains the new asylum application process and credible fear interviews for “arriving migrants” (or “arriving aliens” or “arriving noncitizens”) at the U.S. border. Arriving migrants are individuals who arrive at the U.S. border without documents or a valid visa. Although U.S. immigration law requires arriving migrants to be removed on an expedited basis, exceptions exist for individuals who seek asylum (or similar relief) as a result of past persecution and/or a well-founded fear of persecution in their home countries on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion.
