Barrett Wilbert Weed performs the song Requiem from Dear Evan Hansen. Barrett is currently best known for originating the role of Veronica Sawyer in the musical of Heathers, and is currently performing on Broadway in the role of Janis in Mean Girls. She had originally read in table reads during development of Dear Evan Hansen for the role of Zoe Murphy, as well. The arrangement of the song which she is performing in this video includes lyrics which were cut from the final version of the song.
This performance was part of the Dear Evan Hansen: The Novel book launch event on October 8, 2018 at the Town Hall in New York City.
