Slogans including “Jai Bheem” and “CJI ka Apmaan Nahi Sahega Hindustan” were raised. This comes amidst outrage over CJI Gavai's remark - “Go and ask the deity itself to do something now” while dismissing a plea over a Vishnu idol’s restorations. Right-wing voices have called it an insult to Sanatan Dharma. Leader across parties have condemned the attack on CJI Gavai with PM Modi tweeting and calling it "reprehensible".
